Smart and Simple evaluation: what has been done so far? What is still to be done?
Every partners explained the products done so far. Every country has been working on Fibonacci Christmas cards: some of the products have been handmade and some have been collected into ppt presentations. Mrs. Daniela Romoli from Italy gave the other teachers the Italian students’ Christmas cards. Also the English and Polish cards were shown.
As far as the theme of music and rhythm is concerned she informed that the Italian school is working on a play (drama) with the help of a professional director: the students are attending lessons twice a month for 1hour and a half. The play will be shown in occasion of the exchange.
Finnish students have been working on music patterns as well. They’ll produce something fun with music in occasion of Christmas. The French students have been working on poetry patterns. The Polish teachers suggested to take a poem “Lokomotiv” by Julien Tuwin and record the reading of it in every language of the project to find and show its rhythm.
As far as the year themes are concerned Poland will be responsible for the design and inventions in sport and Sweden will be responsible for the final product, the Smart and Simple invention. The responsible country will be in charge of giving ideas and examples to the others and contribute to a real cooperative work.
Planned activity for May-June: inviting a local artist.

Afternoon session: 14.00 Project Meeting:

Sharing obstacles and problems met in the implementation of the project-

Updating the Common site
- Sharing the first year report results: apart from the French, the other countries didn’t get any feedback from national agency following the mid-project report. What the French agency remarked as “negative” was the lack of real sharing and collaboration among the partner schools. As a matter of fact the google group didn’t work for everyone and there were problems with the common site. M. Dols said he had problems with the server computer during the summer and lots of the products sent were lost. That’s why he is going to collect all the first year students’ products and will upload them to the common site as soon as possible. Some of the teachers suggested we should make a
common product for each topic instead of having country sessions on the website.
To solve the problem of communication, Mrs Fiona Burchell, responsible for the google group will create a facebook group which will make communication easier since each teacher in the project has got a Facebook profile.
The partners then decided about the dates of the final meeting in Poland. Everyone agreed on arriving at the weekend ( Sunday 18th May) and concentrating work on the first three days and leaving activities in the last days of the week.
The group started thinking about the new project. Unluckily no clear information is available for the new Erasmus plus programme. The French teacher M. Tondeur showed slides to explain the new actions and everyone was invited to think about a possible project structure and themes to be treated the following days
