FRBV25- Review and assessment of the hosting week

Thursday, April 3rd was the last full day at school of the mobility in France. Before receiving the certicates and taking part in the farewell party, the Romanian, Spanish and French students were gathered together in the school reception room  to reflect on the week and the activities they participated to. First, each pair of students was given a large sheet of paper on which they were asked to create a mind map answering these  questions (in English ):

What have I learnt in these fields: history, the environment, the EU, culture and traditions?

And what skills and values have I developed? In what way has this week changed my personality?

 They were free to choose the layout and decorate the poster as they wished.

The second part of the workshop was dedicated to their feelings. What did I feel during the week? Each pair was given a coloured ribbon where they wrote the emotions they felt  in block letters. They had to discuss, share and explain why they felt that way.

In the meantime, some students were interviewed by their French partner; they were asked to talk about an outstanding experience they lived during the week. A video compiling all these interviews was made.

Then we took pictures of the students presenting their posters and ribbons to the rest of the group.

Finally, we all went down to the school-yard to tie the ribbons to the school gates. The mulitcoloured ribbons floating in the wind and carrying the words of happiness and joy from the students were really a fine sight.

 The students all took an active part in the activity. They relected upon what they had learnt or improved during the week. They also recalled the different emotions  they felt. It was a good opportunity to realise what the week  brought them and how it changed them
