The traditional Erasmus+ party took place at a venue hired by the hosting parents, Salon Royal, in Târgu Jiu. All the pupils and their families attended the meeting and party.  Weraing the traditional Romanian embroidered blouse.

First, Mr Sulea, Principal, and Mrs Caligaru, Vice Principal of Școala Gimnazială Sfântul Nicolae welcomed everyone and thanked the parents, the teachers and the students for the success of the week and stressed the importance of such projects. Mrs Bourdon, French teacher from the Erasmus + team also said a few words of thanks and expressed her wish to continue the exchange with Școala Gimnazială Sfântul Nicolae.

After that, to close the hosting week, the students each received their certicates of attendance and some small presents. Pictures were taken, to a well-deserved and sustained round of applause..

A former student in Sanful Nicolae school, now studying at the Academy of music in Craiova, gave a short recital of traditional Romanian songs.

Then what everybody was eagerly waiting for started: the party itself They all had great fun and danced together on traditional Romanian music wherethey could put into practice what they had learnt during the workshop in the morning. They also danced on more modern rhythms. The party ended at 11.p.m.

During the presentation of the certificates, the students were very proud and happy. They all felt equal, respected and valued. That improved their self-confidence.

During the party, the students had a lot of fun and shared great moments together along with the parents. They  had the real feeling of being part of an Erasmus+ community.

They also learnt about the traditions and musical tastes of their partners.
