This final activity marks the end of the Erasmus+ week, celebrating learning, friendship, and cultural exchange through food, music, and shared experiences. Students gather at the school for a warm and meaningful closing ceremony, where teachers and coordinators take a moment to highlight the progress, involvement, and positive attitude shown by all participants. Each student receives a certificate of participation, recognising their effort, engagement, and enthusiasm throughout the programme. This official moment gives them a sense of achievement and reminds them of the value of international cooperation and shared learning.

After the formal ceremony, the celebration continues with a plentiful shared meal prepared by the host families, offering a variety of traditional Spanish and Catalan dishes. This tasting experience allows students to discover new flavours and learn more about local food culture, while exchanging impressions and stories from the week. The atmosphere becomes even more festive as music starts playing, inviting everyone to dance, sing, and enjoy the moment together. Students from different countries interact freely, strengthening the friendships built during the mobility and creating new memories. The evening provides a relaxed and joyful space where cultural barriers fade, and the spirit of Erasmus+ — openness, respect, and collaboration — is truly felt. Teachers and students take many individual and group photos, as well as short videos, to capture the highlights of this special event and keep lasting souvenirs of their shared experience. By the end of the night, everyone leaves with a strong sense of belonging, gratitude, and excitement for future international projects. This final celebration serves not only as a conclusion to the week but also as an inspiration for future learning and cultural exchanges.

Students felt their work during the week was recognized as the headmaster highlighted their excellent behaviour and attitude during the week. They later had the opportunity to taste Spanish dishes once again: tortilla de patata, empanadas, fuet, jamón, chorizo, guacamole,  cakes, turrón, etc. and learn about the culture from other nationalities thanks to music and dance. Students feel recognized and valued for their engagement during the Erasmus+ week. They strengthen international friendships, cultural awareness, and emotional connection to the programme’s values.
The event closes the exchange on a high note — a celebration of learning, cooperation, and European unity through joy, creativity, and shared culture.
