2010 Bredadidodu

We went from the school to the city centre of Breda after a long and tiring bicycle ride… Our journey was again disturbed by frequent showers…We were able to see the castle, the park, the city centre and its streets very good for shopping ! We had a guide tour of the church built in 1410 and from the top we had a nice view after climbing the 286 steps! Some groups could see only clouds , others were luckier and could see as far as the Belgian border. Breda is also famous because the ancestors of the Dutch Royal family come from that city.

After the visits, a big game of Statego was organized in the streets of the city… After running to try and catch the others we were at least released and were able to go shopping and go back to the families!

Tomorrow we are going to Amsterdam… famous for its water! It sounds promising!

C’est par une longue balade à vélo que depuis l’école nous nous sommes rendus au centre ville… les averses ont de nouveau  perturbé notre circuit. Nous avons pu voir le château, le parc, le centre ville et ses rues parsemées de shopping ! La visite guidée a été principalement dans l’église construite en 1410 et qui culmine la ville donnant un joli point de vue après les 286 marches que nous avons gravies ! Certains groupes ont eu droit aux nuages sans visibilité, d autres plus heureux ont pu voir la frontière belge. Breda est le berceau de la famille royale de Hollande.
Les visites terminées, un grand jeu stratego a pris place dans les rues de la ville.. après quelques courses à attraper les autres enfin nous avons été libérés pour l’après midi shopping et famille ! Demain direction Amsterdam … ville d’eau ! Ca promet !
